21 Year old Margeaux Davis was born and raised in Minneapolis Minnesota. Hometown of Prince, Mint Condition, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Sounds Of Blackness, The Steele Family, Ann Nesby, Jonny Lang, and Next. She is going to be the next "big artist." Since the age of three, Margeaux has always enjoyed the spotlight. Margeaux would sing at the mall to anyone who would listen, and put on a little show, singing "Rockin Robin." Margeaux has taken voice lessons at MacPhail Center For The Arts, and participated in several Honors Recitals. Margeaux graduated from North Community High School in Minneapolis June of 2004. She has received recognition for creativity and visual performing arts award; also a certificate of achievement as an African American Achiever. Margeaux graduated "A" Honor Roll from North High School. She has also participated in many of the Arts And Communications Presentations. Margeaux always sang for the graduating class commencements at the Civic Center for her high school. Recent accomplishments have been completing a three-song demo with Craig Damon a.k.a "Oryon", and Matt Fink a.k.a "Dr Fink" from Princes Revolution album. Margeaux has recorded with Derreck Tuner "Reck The Heavy Weight" doing back-up vocals. Entered American Idol in Denver, 2005 and was one of two-hundred chosen out of ten thousand to go to the next level. Didn't make it in to the Final judges because she was told she had "To Much Of a Gospel sounding voice" Margeaux has had her C.D Played at the Pink Taco in Las Vegas and The Hard Rock Cafe' and was recently featured on a local radio station here in Minneapolis "K.M.O.J." with a great response. Margeaux recently sang at the Bootlegger in Las Vegas at Celebrity Karaoke and Buffie Lucas a singer for Gladys Knight's touring Choir said "You are the female version of Luther Vandross". Margeaux was recently singing at the House of Blues in Vegas. A Gospel group that she knew invited her to show the crowd what singing is all about. Back home in Minneapolis you will find Margeaux Jamming with the band at the Blue Nile every Tuesday Night.
